1.  For Ruth to marry Boaz

2.  She is no longer concerned for herself, being bitter and having no hope. Naomi is now looking toward the future for Boaz and Ruth.

3.  A) A relative of the dead husband who will redeem the property, marry the widow and raise the children. The children would carry the father's name. He would takeover for a slain relative.
    B)  Christ the Redeemer - our kinsman who delivered us out of the bondage of sin when he died on the cross for us. Matthew 20:28, Romans 3:24,Ephesians 1: 7, Peter 1:18, 19, Psalms 51, Isaiah 1:16, Psalms 26:6, Acts 22:16

her kinsman redeemer. She was following the law the advice of Naomi, who know the law and had she don this any other way Boaz would have been confused.

7.   She would do all that Naomi told her.

8.   He knew there was a closer relative who could be her redeemer, by law Boaz could not. He also felt she might want someone younger and rich.

9.   To claim that person for yourself particulary in marriage. Ruth had come under the wings of God and now wanted the same from Boaz.
